When I first tried to get my book published, I was chewed up and spat out by the mystical publishing industry. It had been three years, and by that time I was exhausted. My manuscript sat untouched on my laptop, collecting digital dust.

Every time I tried to move forward, I just felt more overwhelmed. My inbox was full of rejections—and worse, radio silence. I was getting ghosted by both literary agents and publishing houses. I didn't know why then. But I do now.

I did nearly give up completely. But something inside me knew that if I was a good writer with a good book, there must be a way to break into the publishing industry. Perhaps it was about a different strategy? Perhaps it was about mastering a different skillset? And I was right.

I then made a bold decision: I would leave my career as an English teacher and step into the unknown world of publishing. I had no connections, no industry contacts, and no idea how the system truly worked—but I was determined. I poured my heart into training in traditional publishing, studying relentlessly to become a professional book editor and literary agent.

I was stunned to discover that publishing—like every other global industry—is first and foremost a business. Still, I kept going. I worked my way up—bit by bit—until I was collaborating with editors and agents at Penguin Random House and other major publishing houses. Slowly, everything started to change. I cracked the code: how the traditional world really works, how to self-publish professionally, and what actually gets books into readers' hands.

And when I applied what I’d learned? My dream of becoming a published author came true—in less than a year. That’s when a new mission was born: to help other writers skip the struggle I went through—and get published with clarity and confidence.

So here I am today, having mastered the traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing models. I discovered what makes a pitch irresistible, what gets agents and publishers to say yes, and how to transform an idea into a powerful, published book. And now, I’m handing that roadmap to you.
